it's time to
serve.

"...not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others." -Philippians 2:4

Glorify the Father

Scripture tells us that we are "created in Christ Jesus to do good works" and that these works were "prepared in advance for us to do" (Ephesians 2:10). Working and serving in the way God calls us is walking in obedience to the call He has placed on all our lives. As Matthew writes, "...in the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

Support the Community

Serving is about looking to the needs of the community before our own; our community is filled with members that are in need. Paul charges the Church in Philippi, "do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others."

places to serve.

At Church on the Hill, there are endless ways to get involved. Here some areas where we could use your help! Interesting in helping? Click the link below and fill out volunteer inquiry!

kid nation

This is one of our biggest areas of need. With over 200 kids attending one campus any given Sunday, it takes a lot of loving volunteers to pull-off a successful, impactful Sunday message for our youth from 6 weeks to 5th grade.

greeting

How does it feel when you are greeted as soon as you walk in the door? Good, right? You feel at home. Do you want to evoke those feelings of welcoming and homecoming to our community? Try greeting on a Sunday, the impact will blow you away.

ushering

More than just helping people find a seat, our ushers are responsible for cultivating an atmosphere in the sanctuary that allows everyone to be fully fixated on the Holy Spirit's presence. From helping our less able-bodied members from their car, to collecting tithes, and serving communion, these dedicated servants are a vital part of the Sunday team.

hospitility

Have you ever gotten to church and realized you are not caffeinated?  Let's meet the hospitality team. Our hospitality team is responsible for the little details that make Sunday mornings that touch more enjoyable: coffee, tea, flowers on Mother's Day, special ministry handouts; this wonderful team is truly filled with servants and...hospitable people.

Worship

We have an incredible worship team. Incredible. If you are gifted with musical abilities and have a servant's heart, we'd love to connect with you.

sound

Without our sound techs, it's all just noise. Our tech team is always looking for servants with a keen ear and a willingness to learn.

special minsitries

Church on the Hill is full of special ministries. From Embrace Grace to feeding our unsheltered neighbors, we have plenty of opportunities to jump in and serve inside and outside the walls of the Church. Fill out the form to get connected.

media

The media team is responsible for running the show on Sunday's. From worship slides to livestreams, the media team is always in need for volunteers to keep services running as smooth as possible.
