At Church on the Hill, we are called to bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom for the captive, and comfort those who mourn.  COTH Counseling Ministry’s goal is to offer God’s healing to those going through a season of difficulty and spiritual direction to those wishing to grow deeper in Christ’s love. Isaiah 61:1 ESV – The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good new to the poor.  He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and opening of the prison to those who are bound.

We are a pastoral resource: Our short-term, targeted Biblical counseling resource is one way we seek to meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of our church and community. Galatians 6:2 ESV – Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
As Biblical Counselors, we value the application of Biblical Christian principles that will support making the connection between a believer’s faith and the issues of life that they face. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 ESV – All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
Our desire is to discover issues that may be keeping a believer from living in the fullness of God’s love and walking a life of victory.  When those root issues are revealed, total surrender can take place allowing for repentance, forgiveness, and letting go of what needs to be left behind, making way for the Spirit's power to live a new life.
