Rob and Jeanel have devoted their lives to equipping and encouraging the Church —both in the United States and within the rapidly emerging church movements of Africa and Central Eurasia. Their passion is to see healthy, multiplying disciples and churches take root and flourish. Through teaching, mentoring, and hands-on partnership with local believers, they work to empower leaders who can, in turn, disciple others and plant churches that reproduce and expand.
Rob and Jeanel are originally from Oregon. They have two adult daughters and ten grandchildren.
In 1999, they made the life-changing decision to move to Ethiopia, stepping into their life call of cross-cultural service and ministry. Since that time, their journey has taken them far beyond one nation. Over the decades, they have lived and served in multiple countries across Africa and Eurasia, building deep relationships, strengthening local leaders, and investing in long-term spiritual growth.
Their calling is centered on multiplication: disciples who make disciples, and churches that plant churches. With decades of cross-cultural experience and a deep commitment to relational ministry, Rob and Jeanel continue to give their years to strengthening the global Church for lasting impact.
