Hi, my name is Vanessa Makarenko, and I am a graduate of Crosshill Christian school (2024). I am so excited to be staffing the Discipleship Bible School (DBS) with YWAM Amsterdam!
In 2025, I completed my Discipleship training school (DTS) with YWAM Gold Coast in Australia, where God first opened my heart to missions. After that, I had the incredible opportunity to do my Secondary School in Amsterdam, where God completely changed me from the inside out.
Now I have the privilege of staffing DBS, an intensive three-month Bible school where students read through the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation. We will read in small groups with students all across the globe and will be equipped to share the story of Gods redemptive plan from the beginning to end. Then take it back to their homes and ministries and share the Bible as a whole. As I prayed about what was next, God made it clear that He was calling me back to Amsterdam to be part of this school. I am so excited to walk alongside students as they encounter God's Word and experience a life changing transformation. I truly can't express how thankful I am to God and to everyone who has encouraged, prayed for, and supported me along the way. Thank you for being part of this journey with me!
